and graphic card is Ati Radeon (HIS branded) HD 4670, 512 MB with dual DVI. My CPU is Intel Core2Duo E 7500, 2.9 Ghz. I create the SL install partition with iAtkos install DVD. I have 2 HDDs and they are partitioned by MBR method not GPT. My motherboard is P5K and the bios is crossflashed with P5KR bios in order to enable the ACHI mode under SATA options. I have a W7, two XPs and two Linux distros smoothly working in one.
I have a new desktop PC which I use as a multi boot machine.
I kindly request help on following problem. Installed it and everything is still running beautifully! 🙂 connect DVI2VGA dongle and monitor to itĩ. restart PC and change graphics card to HD4670ħ. extract boot_flicker and copy boot file to root folderĦ. edit /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/Īdd pmVersion=20 (in correct form) needed for 10.6.4 update kernel panicĤ. (options used: PC EFI 10.6, Graphics Enabler, voodoo HDA, NTFS-3G, everything else left by default)Ģ. Installed iATKOS S3 with integrated graphics card (because with HD4670 after installation I got Black screen, even in safe mode) I also installed 10.6.4 update with success!ġ. IATKOS S3, boot_flicker, monitor connected to DVI2VGA dongle (VGA out doesn’t work, except when I plug DVI2VGA dongle (without monitor), but then I get fancy colors). After 2 days of hard trying (got only Black Screens or Glichy graphics) I finally got fully working Asus HD4670 512MB, ID 1002:9490!
